We do apologize to our PSP users, the batch of bugs that caused problems crept in very late in the process. Fortunately, they were relatively easy to fix.
We recommend that everyone update to the 1.1 version. You can do so by either pressing the “Check for Updates” Button in the Patcher, or simply Download the provided Link here.
Both variants work, but since the Update Patch Data are on a Server with limited traffic I urge you not to exploit it.
In addition to the bug fixes, we have corrected some typos that users were helpful enough to point out to us. To do that, you’ll need to work from a clean ISO, you can’t update an ISO with the 1.0 patch applied. You can either download the patcher from the links below, or use the update function in the patcher you already have.

Lastly, Romsstar mentioned a few posts back that he and another programmer have been working for some time on a tool to reverse engineer the original Digimon World for the PS1. Some time soon, he plans on explaining the progress they have made so far, and what his plans for it are.
Caution:
Don’t use the Pirate B-Wargreymon password unless you are strong enough to actually defeat it. The Colosseum will only be unlocked again after you defeated it.
We hope this Passwords will provide some help to Beginner Tamers that want to get that Greymon, or just need more Offense to defeat that “tenacious” Gabumon :D

I’m afraid not since Win XP doesn’t support the 4.5 Framenetwork. BUT if you get yourself the xdelta exe you can pull the patches from the data folder and patch it manually. While it’s more hassle, it would make it patchable under XP. But does PPSSPP even run under XP? If not it’s not worth the hassle is it?

Awesome work guys. I’ve been playin on ppsspp but it’s nice to see psp users getting a fix this quick and I’ve been wanting to fight the black wargreymon, now ive finished the main story i wanna take my lillithmon up against Colosseum fights :)
By the way i was wondering if anyone could give me an answer to what new game + actually does for you, there’s so much part information and guesses on google that i just gave up looking.

How to patch to English I already have the iso, so I put it in the patcher, picked sub on the 1st try once I had that, I put the sub patch and the iso in the same folder, start up ppsspp open the game, and its still in japanese, not sure what went wrong or what i did wrong so i tried the same thing with the dub. Same result can someone please help me.

Tutorial on how to apply the patch:
1- Open Patcher in admin mode
2- Before anything, click on the big button saying “Check for Updates”, it will download the recent patches
3- On “Input ISO” click “Open File” select your CLEAN ISO file
4- On “Output ISO” click “Save File” here u select one folder where u want the translated file to be and name it whatever you want
5- Select the version you prefer “SUB” or “DUB”
6- Click “PATCH”
7- You will copy to your PSP the file you named on step 4 !!
8- Enjoy the game :)

For people using other OS Distros or people who want to patch by hand I quickly reversed the patcher (it should really be open source either as a optional download or included in the patch folder).
Just as a word of warning only use this method if you are experienced enough to use the terminal on your system and be warned that these commands are geared towards a Linux operating system.

@ noseke You need to get a mail from Takato first, the sender name is T.M. (just keep defeating the opponents till takato mails you, like first one is Tai, than Sora, etc).
The 1st battle is at Coliseum 20F and the 2nd battle is at Coliseum 40F

It is possible with v1. Weird, huh.

Sure, you’ll have to do things manually, which is more complicated, I’m afraid. First, download XDelta UI from here. You’ll also need to install a program like HashTab to check which ISO you have, though there are other options.
If you install HashTab, right click on the ISO, and then click on properties. In the new window that pops up, click on File Hashes. It may take a few minutes to process such a large file, but when it’s done, keep that window open. Now, in the data folder of the our patcher program are four .xdelta files. Open up the XDelta UI program from that first link, click on the box that says patch, and navigate to that folder. Go back to the File Hashes window, and choose the sub or dub version of the file that matches your MD5 hash. If there isn’t a matching one in there, you have a bad ISO.
Click the second button, the one for the source file and navigate to your ISO, and then for the Output File pick a folder, like your Desktop, that you have easy access to and type in a name for the new ISO, and make sure to put .iso at the end. Then click patch. When a message pops up saying it’s done, you can use the patched ISO with PPSSPP or put it on a CFW’d PSP.

@ByRod: We’re working on it for the possible 1.2 version. It should be possible if we can get soft subs working, but that’s where we ran into technical issues.
The legal issue is this: We can’t give you the file to swap, that would be copyright infringement. We have to create a process by which users can either soft sub the video, or add hard subs by extracting the video themselves and adding hard subs, and then putting the video back in.
For that reason, soft subs would be a better solution since they could be incorporated into the xdelta patch, but for reasons I don’t understand I was told it would be very difficult to make that work, but we’ll see.

Dub uses terms from the American dubs, like digivolve and Gallantmon. Sub uses the original Japanese terms.

@Sporky I’m not sure if this is an issue with the patch or if it’s just me, but none of my digimon will digivolve past champion level. For example I tried to get Greymon to digivolve into Megadramon, but he died on the ninth day still not digivolved. To get Megadramon you have to get high MP and Offense (Balanced). I got my offense to at least 600 and my mp was over 6000, but still no go. This has happened to me twice in a row now. 0 care mistakes on both as well.

Dub uses terms from the American dub, like digivolve and Gallantmon, while sub uses the original Japanese terms, like evolution and Dukemon. They are otherwise the same. Storage Cards can be used to add new Digimemories, which can allow you to perform special attacks.

Thank you for another update again. Already beat this game 3 years ago and I am planning to start my game all over again with nothing. Going to miss all of my hard working raised on every Digimon. Especially these 5 deaths of my Digimon. ;_;7
P.S. Yes, I know there is 2 option to start a new game, but I prefer to start over with nothing because I missed out a lot of reading in that story, side-quest, and rare items that I sold.

We just tested that and we didn’t have any problems. Did you open a save state? Those can sometimes cause problems, but memory card saves are fine.

To those who wanted to place the game at its lowest size possible in their memory stick, try compressing the patched version of the same game to its .cso format. It will save you as much as 317 Mb in the process. I am playing the game compressed now even after patching it in English language.

For those using PPSSPP and the game crashes after doing something like entering new map or completing a tournament, disable Fast Memory and it shouldn’t freeze/crash anymore.

It appears my problem was my inventory was full, so the stones weren’t actually being picked up. Just a warning to those who do the Goburimon part, lol. Make sure you have room so the stones actually get picked up – despite them not disappearing, the text doesn’t give any indication that you aren’t actually picking them up because you don’t have the room.

I’ll investigate this, but for now all I can tell: It wasn’t overlooked, I really don’t see it in our tools nor the extracted files.

I just don’t get one thing. How are you supposed to train to be able to go Mega but have 40+ battles before your Digimon dies? I just simply can’t find enough time to get high stats and have a lot of won battles at the same time. I’m not using a guide either so I can have a “legit” playthrough.

@ryan plus unlock gym upgrades like training vegies and rosemon/metalgreymon I was able to get my last digimon up to 4000 health before he hit rookie not to forget the baby bonus where by training a baby on one piece of equipment only you unlock a permament stat boost for that piece of equipment. there’s also the elusive training manual with just the manual and rosemon I generally get about 25/250 points each time I train

Hi guys ! first of all thank you for your awesome work !! I can’t wait to play !
BUT
I’ve got a problem :/.
So I patch the game and all but every time i try to play it on my psp, I select “new game” I get a black screen.
I know i’m not the only one and I saw a comment who say to try to use a save data from right after the cinematique of the game to pass the black screen.
So I try the game on ppsspp and it work fine but I really would like to play on my psp so I was like “HEY I will take the save data from ppsspp and use it in my psp !” The problem is that when I do that my psp tell me that all the save data who come from ppsspp are corrupted…
I try dowload so other save data from jap version to see if it’s not corruped and yes it work !
But all of them are for the new game plus so I still have the black screen and the begining x)
I got my psp for such a long time now that I don’t remember what firewall it got or even if it’s a 2000 or 3000 but i have already hack it I know that and when a Try the tuto you like to upgrad it to 6.20 It tell me that it already was doesn’t need any upgrate.
SO I BEG FOR THE HELP OF ANYONE !
Can someone who play on a psp be kind enought to creat a new game and save it just after named the character and Send me The save data ? It would be so nice of you ! cause I d’ont see other option…

Yeah I’m not to concerned. I save progress a lot just in case. And I’m able to play the game. Not to sure what’s going on with it as it was a fresh jp copy that I patched with the 1.1 not a big worry. You guys are awesome as is. Just screenshot it to show what I saw. Not to worried. It’s playable and I’m 17:45 into it. So I’m just happy to be able to read it. :)

True, which is why I’m starting over so, I can get most of my items back that I sold without knowing it. These orb items that I got were the force evolution and one of them were rare to get it, which I don’t mind, but its well worth to play it again. The most OP digimon I’ve raised was Omnimon. Max stats with full of devil chips, normal chips, and training.

@bryan Some digivolutions need certain stats higher than others. You divide HP and MP by 10 to put them on even ground with the other stats or else your HP and MP would always be higher. Ex: 2000 HP is considered less than 250 Attack.

(REQUIRES CWCHEAT, SEARCH IT ON GOOGLE)
1- google the cheat that puts your first item in bag x99
2- change the first item to “Chain Mellon (prolongs your digimon for one more day, so if u feed one each day and u have x99 melons your digimon will live 99 days :)”
3- if you get bored or want to change digimon, feed him a devil chip or use a cheat to insta kill it
4- my digimon is mega since age 5, is currently on age 13, im currently testing this trick, but should work np

@bryan I’ll try to explain the best I can.
When you want a specific evolution, you mostly need one stat to be higher than the others. As HP/MP max is 9999 and the other stats get the max at 999, to compare which is higher you have to divide HP/MP by 10. As an example, imagine a digi with these stats:
-HP 3510
-MP 4012
-Off 297
-Def 351
-Spd 269
-Brn 504
To compare them, ignore the last digit of HP/MP so it’s like this:
-HP 351
-MP 401
-Off 297
-Def 351
-Spd 269
-Brn 504
That’s how you compare the stats for getting evolutions, hope I helped.

@A Fan: If you’re using a PSP, you don’t have to do anything. On PPSSPP, save states can cause problems, so do a memory card save instead. Other than that, saves transfer without any special effort.

It’s not wrong, but the rest of the stats need to be in proportion. If you have 800 Defense, all of the other stats need to be increased by one third to match it.

You’ll want to save using the Digivice menu. Save states can throw a lot of errors, but saves to the memory card should be fine.

Sub uses the original Japanese terms, as translated in fansubs in the anime. Dub uses the arbitrarily altered version popularized in the American dubs of the anime.
Dub uses digivolve, sub uses evolve, things like that.

@Rykuz: It’s never going to have that many Digimon. We’re hoping to add a BWGreymon line, and it looks like Jijimon might be possible at some point, but only because both are at least partially implemented already. Making new Digimon models and such is maybe not outside the realm of the theoretically possible, but the kind of thing we’re unlikely to take the amount of time needed to make happen.

The models use a proprietary format that we would need to reverse engineer first, and you would also need to make custom attack animations for them.

Digi cores are used to recharge the special attack where you use your last digimons final instead of the current-ones, so they have their uses. ALSO DIGIMONS ON THIS GAME DIE WAAAYYY TO FAST, IM ON MY 4 DIGIMON ALREADY…. I MEAN COME ON THEY ARE MEGAS AND STILL DIE ON LIKE THE 16 DAY……

Pay attention to the requirements of whatever else your guy can digivolve to. If what you want requires 2000+ mp and something else he can digivolve to requires 2500+, keep your MP between 2000 and 2499 for example

That means you’re trying to patch the wrong ISO. That can happen for three reasons. You are either trying to patch the 1.0 patched ISO, which we specifically said in this post you couldn’t do so I’m sure that’s not it because you read it closely before asking, you pirated a bad ISO and are trying to patch that, or you made your own ISO from the UMD and had a transcription error.

when doing the brain training, it doesn’t show the lines for me. i was completely confused about how you were meant to do it since it just seemed random, until i looked at a video and say other people apparently had lines going from the top to the bottom that lets you know how to do it. does anyone else have this problem?

Try messing with the graphics settings on your emulator. That’s usually the problem. What settings will play well with your computer is outside my area of expertise, though.

Potentially, I haven’t encountered that issue before. Do you recall getting messages saying that your Tamer rank has gone up? If so, then that’s almost certainly it.

If you’re meant to get a message then no, I certainly haven’t. I was under the impression that raising digimon to mega-level (or two to ultimate) was what counted towards ranking up. There’s a lot of conflicting information, though.
Also: I have the same problem with the ladder training… thing. No little lines to follow and I’ve been messing around with program settings to try and get around it but so far I’ve had no luck.

New Game+. I grew this glorious bastard to MetalGreymon on 5 days and fed him evolution item to make him Wargreymon, after that right digimemory and tadaa! fed him some power chips. I got around 10 melons so I am going to expand his lifespan and beat the game in 1 go with him. I think I make his stats 999 with restaurant and hard gym.

Two text-clarity things of note for you:
When a partner dies, Jijimon’s dialogue implies that you can EITHER make a DigiMemory OR transfer their power to a new Digitama, when in reality you can BOTH make a DigiMemory AND transfer their power to a new Digitama.
When attempting to pick up some items on the field while you have a full inventory (for example, collecting stones for the Goburimon in the swamp), it will print “But you still need more!” and you will (predictably) not pick up the item; a more-intuitive message would be great.
And now to go back to raising my Angewomon.

As a follow-up, when playing Subbed at least, there are two Perfect titles: one awarded for winning a fight while taking no damage, and one awarded for raising an Ultimate/Mega (sub/dub) Digimon.
The latter is kind of confusing since “Perfect” is the sub version of the Dub’s “Ultimate”.

@Zero: The save files from the Japanese game are compatible with the English patch. The patched ISO and the original Japanese version are the same game internally.
It’ll be something else that’s caused your save files to corrupt, either a different firmware, or your memory stick’s buggered.
If you want to try to ‘fix’ those Corrupted save files, try using this: http://moneyexpertsteam.blogspot.co.uk/2011/06/how-to-fix-psp-corrupted-game-save-data.html (Yeah yeah, I know the link looks fishy, but it ‘is’ legit. At least, that article there is, I’ve used it to fix my corrupted PSP saves in the past.)

@Neil the baby bonus is a permanent increase to gym equipment gained by using it and it alone during the baby/intraining phase of each digimon it’s only like a point or so at the basic level but it lasts the rest of your game and you can get one on each of both gym equipments and if the advanced training works by multiplying the base instead of just adding an arbitrary amount sadly I’ve experimented a bit and they don’t appear to stack though though I would be extatic if you could prove me wrong about that.
On another note does anyone know the range for the meat exchange highs lows that sort of thing?

@Pain:He has a habit of popping up in the most difficult of fights, it seems. It’s randomized for every new game, so you never know where he’ll show up. I haven’t had anyone say where they found me, yet, though.
@Anonymous: I can’t remember where you find Chain Melons, and the X Program can be acquired two ways, but I can only remember one. On the 20th floor, Dorumon will ask you to introduce him to another X Antibody Digimon. You can only do that after you reach a relatively late point in the plot where Yuuya ends up fighting in the Colosseum. After he does, you can ask Yuuya or Black to talk to Dorumon. He’ll be very happy and give you an X Program, recommending you use it on WarGreymon, though there are other Digimon that can use it, too.

@Neil I trust you can understand why I haven’t run a baby digimon out to bone swamp or the night canyon so I can only assume that it works for those as well but once you unlock rosemon or metalgreymon they become less relevant. That said given you have to unlock the equipment seperately in both the arena gym and the city gym I can only guess you would need to unlock the wild ones seperately as well

I had three skills, but accidentally switched an in-use one with another in-use one. They were both ‘active’. It caused the game to crash.

Interesting how they’ve handled the skill learning in this game in the last one it was one of three percentages depending on which type your digimon was

@neil actually once you clear night canyon that one will be pretty easy as birdramon drops you right next to it just bring plenty of food and port-a-pottys or you’ll be dashing past ultimates for the loo. That said if you haven’t got too many tamer ranks(don’t know if you’d lose them doing this just wouldn’t want to risk it)
you could probably unlock all the city ones in an after noon or two by unlocking the upgrade then sending your fresh/rookie partner up against champions to kill them and repeating. That’s what I did when I was testing for stacking

More mistakes in the sub patch:
Scumon still has his American name (Sukamon).
V-mon still has his American name (Veemon) in his card. The card also mentions him being able to evolve using Digi-Eggs, when it should be Digimental.
XV-mon still has his American name (ExVeemon) in his card. The same card also mentions V-dramon by his American name (Veedramon).
HerakleKabuterimon still has his American name (HerculesKabuterimon).
Paildramon’s card mentions XV-Mon by his American name and mentions being formed via DNA evolution, when it should be Jogress evolution.
The Devas’ cards mention them serving a Digimon Sovereign, when it should be one of the Four Holy Beasts. The Beasts themselves are referred by the correct title in their own cards, but the card set is still called “Digimon Sovereign”.
BlackMegaloGrowmon’s card refers to BlackGrowmon as BlackGrowlmon.

@Robby and Zeni: You’ll need a Windows 7 or 8 computer, Vista may work too. Open the exe, and in the input box navigate to your Japanese ISO. In the Output box, pick a folder and name the new ISO. Then press patch.

I think I found a few mistakes. It’s in the fluorescence cave for those who don’t want to be spoiled. PlatiniumNumemon says “I asked them to trade with me, but they since they think i’m disgusting”. Before that Lucemon FM said : This is can’t be.
I’m using patch 1.1 with ppsspp sub version.

Personally I feel there’s no need for the team to apologize, especially seeing as they 1. Took the time translate the entire game into a useable format at all. 2. Even big game corporations do make oversites from time to time. I’m just glad that they were able to figure out the problem and get it sorted.

Sooooo. Basically in DW 1 all you needed was stats of 5000 / 500 average and you can beat the game lickety split.
I’m not even halfway through the story in Re:Digitize and lose with 6000 / 600 on floor 10F in the colloseum?
Maybe my HerculesKabuterimon needs better techniques than “Spread Bomb” and “Poison Circle”?
I atleast hope that the story still has a little more to offer. Right now the group will decide in the colloseum what happens to the Garbage-Data. If i can beat these tamerless battles…
Is it almost at the end storywise or are there more plot-twists to come? ^^

Having a lot of fun with this, now I’m understanding it all. Managed to get my first ultimate today, a Lilamon, pretty happy about that. I also noticed this game has a tie-in with tekken. Lili can been battled in the colosseum, was surprised to find a tekken character in a digimon game. Her name was spelt “Lily” though, which while technically correct it’s usually spelt with an “i” in the games. No bugs though after the 1.1 patch so far, good work guys.

Guys, I just noticed something that is undoubtably a result of this project and is a bit amazing really.
On the front page of Gamefaqs, Digimon World Re: Digitize is currently ranked 5th on “Most Wanted Faqs”
I’d say that’s a pretty big impact from a fan translation, as it’s the only PSP game in the top 30 and one of only 8 PSP games in the top 100.
Congratulations team, I think at this point even if you get shut down you’ve shown that there is enough demand to warrant an official translation, which I’m sure is a success in the eyes of digimon fans everywhere.

@holypower: No, you should leave all your fishing baits at the warehouse, except for the digimushroom/meat or whatever you’ll be using to catch the digi goldfish. The bug won’t happen if you have more bait in your inventory. Everything else can stay, though.

@Neil: I misunderstood the storage as inventory, after you mention the warehouse I understood immediately that I should only carried one digi goldfish, but what I did is to bring all the fish baits I have with me, haha. So, I tried the glitch again and it works fine this time. Thanks for the tips.
@Jake: please try to patch an original japanese iso, not the modified iso.

@Jake: There are basically three options. You’re either trying to patch a 1.0 version, which doesn’t work, you pirated a bad copy, which doesn’t work, or you had a transcription error when you made your own ISO from the UMD. I can only really help you with the last one.

@Robby, you need to talk to Chuumon near the entrance to submerged area (there are two entrance if I remember, don’t go through the signpost forest, you won’t find him), battle him, and he will give you “bouyancy program” or something and you can now walk on the water.

I’ve been watching this for a long time. The first digimon world was one of my favorite games when I was kid… Its cool that I get to relive that because you guys are awesome and spent years working on a translation. 1. Go to eBay.com
2. Type Digimon world Re:digitize PSP in the search.
3. Pay for it.
4. Rip it via a hacked PSP
5. Patch with v1.1

It’s semi random. You have all the pre requisites, now you need to find her on the first floor, but she won’t always show up. Later in the quest, you’ll need to do random free battles, and she and her butler will break in at the end without warning.

@revin To upgrade to advance training you must beat metalgreymon in colloseum for story quest after that you must find him in powdery cliff memoria stella beat him there too end he then return to the city after a while you get a mail from metalgreymon that tells you tha advance traing unlocked.

If you can get your hands on a copy of Japanese Decode. I highly recommend playing it. I unfortunately didn’t finish the extra ending. I will wait till Sporky and his team start and finish the translation before I start again. Your really not missing too much compared to the Redigitize. It is a bit annoying you cant evovle Angewomen Ophanimon or get Machindramon. Just think how limited you were in DW1. It’s not so bad =) Goodluck guys on when you start translating Decode!

I downloaded PPSSPP and the clean iso in hope to be able to play DWRD on window. I follow the direction as stated above and patched the iso. I then load the patched iso into PPSSPP and a black screen came on. As I randomly push buttons on my keyboard, it triggers a somewhat game sound (like yes or no) but my screen is totally blacked out. When I pressed the ESC button, the DWRD background screen loads up with game setting/save & load state. I’m sure the PPSSPP works, but i can seem to get the game rolling as it’s blacked out. Is anyone experiencing the same issue?

I can only suggested messing with PPSSPP’s settings. Depending on your computer, it might be a good idea to try the D3D9 back end. It’s not as good, but it works on older computers. Speaking of emails, one minor change I’d suggest is when you’re searching for the Garbage Data, Nico says he’ll see you “southwest of gravel wasteland”. I interpreted it as not being in the wasteland but maybe around platinumnumemon’s home because it’s about as south west of the wasteland as I could get. Something like “in the southwest section of gravel wasteland” would be much less vague. Saw someone asking this on gamefaqs too so I’m not alone in this

Sporky, since you guys have the game completely ripped apart, could you make some posts now detailing the mechanics of the game? I’ve been meaning to get a Omnimon, but I’m having a hard time getting a Garurumon->WereGarurumon, because I end up training too much because of my gym and tamer level, so the speed always stays too high. I’m following the Gamefaqs guide, but it would be nice to REALLY know how the evolution system works, what are the break points and stuff like that.

@Anonymous: I’m not specifically against the idea, but I don’t want to volunteer Romsstar for it. I’ve only ever had access to the game’s text files. Romsstar knows how to get at the mechanics, but I’m not sure he’d want to take the time to write everything up. I imagine he’d be more inclined to get started on Decode instead. I know that a group at GBATemp is working on a walkthrough with that sort of information.

im having a hard time.. i cant train my baby digimon anymore coz if i do, it exceeds the req for champ level. example i want ikakumon, it req 80 atak. but my atk is already 60 and it rises as i evolve to baby 2 and rookie.and when i train for hp when im in rookie, it adds ofense. and when i reach 800 hp, my ofens exceeds to 80… does training needs calculations??

@Elliot: Open the patcher tool, in the first box put the location of your existing ISO, in the second box navigate to the folder you want the patched ISO to be created in, and give it a name ending in.iso. Then click patch.
@Edwin: You’re using the 1.0 version, I’m going to guess you pirated it from somewhere. You’ll need to use the up to date version of the patch on a Japanese ISO.

I haven’t been able to patch it after trying for most of the past day. I’m not very good with this stuff since I’ve never done it before so I can’t really tell where I’ve gone wrong, and everywhere I’ve asked thus far no one has responded.
I have a PSP (model 02g looks like) and have 6.60 PRO-B9 on it. I have the physical UMD. I use USB/UMD and copy the ISO to my PC, but the patcher for DWRD says “Incorrect ISO Hash” whenever I try patching it. I read through the comments on here for at least an hour and saw Sporky mention this: https://digimonworldre.wordpress.com/2015/06/26/1-1-patch-release/#comment-11444
But the ISO doesn’t match. I’ve tried changing the CFW settings to Inferno and the other two options but nothing seems to have changed, it’s still the wrong ISO. If anyone here even had just a video maybe I could find what I’m doing wrong. I’m not going to pirate an ISO, so other than asking here and 4Chan next, I’ve just about given up for a while.

I’m not sure what to tell you. Unless you’re getting a transcription error, I can’t think of any reason you would get a different hash than everyone else does.

Make sure Windows is up to date, it relies on the .net Framework 4.5. Otherwise, it’s a self contained exe. Can you be more specific about what “having a hard time” means?

Did you download it from Mega? If so, it’s in a .rar file, so you’ll want to install something like 7-zip to extract the other files.

Have you extracted everything to a new folder, or are you trying to run the patcher from inside the rar? If the latter, you’ll need to extract it, put it in a folder on the desktop or something.

The patcher is Windows only, of course, but the ISO works fine with the Android version of PPSSPP. Admittedly, the framerate and such will depend on your phone’s specs, though.

@OldRPGGaming: I also want to add that if you’re using PPSSPP, and you’re having bugs, that’s not the patches fault. I’ve been playing it on PPSSPP (Sub version) completely fine so far, everything’s showing up, everything’s working fine.
If something in PPSSPP isn’t working for you, then you either need to change your graphics settings (Even though mine’s default… except I upped the res on pretty much everything because… wynaut?) or you need to update to the latest PPSSPP built (You can get indev builds too, which is what I use.)

Wow I can’t believe it. After 3 years it’s finally done! Thanks so much for all your hard work and effort you guys put into making this. I know it took a longtime but it sure was worth the wait^ I recently tried out the V1.0 and just applied V1.1 yesterday. The patch is great!^ The codes really helped too. I was able to get my Greymon Digivolve to Andromon and with the training I gave it, he was able to Digivolve to MetalEtemon today! His stats are great and only 9 years old^ 5001 HP, 5002 MP, 515 Offense, 626 Defense, 551 Speed, and 502 Brains. I can’t wait to train em more to make him stronger! Really enjoying the game sofl far ^ thanks so much guys! All I can say for this now is, Watch your step! Banana Slip!

Firstly, I would like to thank your team for the translation effort that you’ve given us. I’ve waited for this for years and you guys have now given me the chance to finally play this game. I definitely will play the 3DS version as well once you guys complete that (unless that’s really soon and I should hold off playing the PSP one for that lol).
Secondly, I have not played the game yet myself, but I understand that there were many Digimon that were already in the game but are unobtainable and were only enemies.
For those unaware, take a look at some of these:
We could easily cheat this in ourselves and just get those Digimon if we wanted to, but I was wondering if you guys are able to “create” items that allow your digimon to digivolve to them? It would make playing and getting these digimon more “legit”, so to speak.
One Digimon that I really think should have been included is Virus Metalgreymon (he’s the original Metalgreymon design AND he was in DW1!).
Once again, much thanks to you and your team for this. This patch, along with the good news of Cyber Sleuth being localized makes this year one of the best years for a Digimon fan.

It also reassures me that whatever is wrong with mine is a transcription error when copying the ISO for some reason or another, and I can’t find info on that or what could be causing it, so I guess I’ll just try again to play this at some other point. @Narquio I had the same problem as you. First time I played trough the game i only achieved 99 prosperity. Second time i got the 100. The missing one for me was in Submerged Cave Gomamon. Im pretty sure that you miss him too. You have to stay and wait in the area before the boss fight and he will appear from the water below.
Its where you can see houses trough the water. Just wait and he will come up

First off–I’m sorry for being so horribly off topic. I’m reaching out to anyone who knows how to rebuild an iso. Help needed! I’ve been trying really hard to introduce a 3ds digimon into the psp version (my favorite digi Dorumon). I’ve gotten him with cwcheat codes but he’s very unfinished with one continuous idle animation floats can’t fight can’t save (unlike most complete digimon you can switch off partners with via use of cwcheats.) my mission was to place the more complete files over the unfinished dorumon, and if successful share a how-to do with this community.
I’ve succeeded in extracting the arcv0.bin arcv0info.bin files in both the psp and 3ds game. (I can see inside both games the .res files required for me that store that digimon data.)
The problem I have is my tool, an Unpacker exe tool from y’all’s old gbatemp forum can only rebuild an iso file pertaining to the game’s language and text, cannot find a way to successfully create an iso with the new files.

Not a very patient person, are you? The input file is your UMD9660 file, the output is whatever place and name you want the patcher to make the patched ISO.

Sorry I didn’t realize there was a delay on comments, I wasn’t seeing them. When I do that, it says calculating ISO Hash with no progress for up to half an hour, and then it says Incorrect ISO hash.

I ended up crashing talking to BlackWereGarurumon in Gravel Wasteland. I gave him a Large Recovery, realized it didn’t work, then gave him a hat. It ended up taking the Santa hat my partner was wearing, walked off, and crashed the game.

For the internet impaired that can’t watch the video:
-Dowload the darn ISO from wherever.
-Make a Copy, put it wherever you like.
-Choose one of the ISO files as output.
-Choose the other one as input, this is the one you’re gonna use.
-Now do like you do with any other PSP game (as a side note, this works in every version of Cobra CFW for the PS3).

How come there wasn’t a reference to Hiro? (The protagonist from Digimon World 1).
It just made me a little upset seeing how the developers left out such nostalgic treats. Surely a lot of people playing hoped to at least have a few references about the legendary tamer that saved File Island before.
I remember seeing a post where Romsstar praised how cool it is that the the story ties in how the locations changed as well as makes references to Hiro. If somebody could clarify that for me, I would be very greatful!

@TenaciousDingo The save bug while running the PS3 CFW is a problem with the PS3 firmware not the translation, the same glitch will happen when playing the raw Japanese ISO, when I tested it before I didn’t try saving sorry. I have heard rumors that converting the image instead of using the placeholder file will have better results but I can’t get the darn thing to convert, besides I have other means of playing it :)

There is a bug but I don’t think it has to do with your translation. The japanese version isn’t working ither. When you play the brain mini game. There are suppose to be lines. However they are invisible on PPSSPP. So there is literally noway to win. You just have to guess over and over and it becomes a giant headache.
Did you guys encounter this bug and find anyway to fix it?

does anybody know if I can play this on m33. I installed the file after I patched it but when I hit new game the screen stays. If I hit load the game tells me no save file but when I hit new game it just stays black. Do i need to upgrade to pro 6.60 or does it not matter. By the way this is for my psp.

There are several possibilities, and without more information, I can’t tell which one. If you’re trying to play the game on your PSP, make sure to remove the UMD from the drive and that CFW is installed. On PPSSPP, make sure you’re trying to play the new ISO, not the original.

You need to use the circle button, not the x button. Almost all Japanese games use the circle button that way, and they get switched when localized.

Can anyone help me? Im playing on v1.1 sub.. I played until i finished binary castle and got 2 mails to go to memorial stela in signpost forest and railroad plains.. After i went there then i returned to file city.. I should hv gotten a mail from mirei to go to colosseum but i didn’t get the mail from mirei.. Im stuck there please help..

To those who are having the save 325kb loop issue and are just told to press circle. Start a new game and make a save in game, then also make a save state through the emulator to fix the save data not being found/not enough room issue.

The programmer who made the patcher program hasn’t been in contact with us lately, and we don’t have the source code available. I’m not sure it would be trivial to change even if we did, so for the moment, I’m afraid not. The patch can still be used, it’s just a bit more complicated. I’ve used cheats with the game. I haven’t used CWCheat, though, just things Romsstar sent to me that I think he made himself for the most part. What sort are you trying to use?

@Thewargreymon: Codes can only used once per save file, IIRC.
And to install it, there should be installation instructions.

somethings wrong. When I install the patch I can’t get past the “this game requires xxx kb Storage” it just loops back to that screen. But the unpatched Japanese iso I have will allow me to progress past that screen. Am I installing the patch wrong?
