Looks nice. So will you post the same updates here and on facebook, or only big updates at one of them?

Probably on both, definitely still going to happen here, because I won’t touch Facebook with a ten foot pole.

@Sporky: Likewise. I’m not really into social media all that much, haha.

EDIT: There was nothing here. Nothing at all.

Finally downgraded my old 3DSXL and got my Gateway working with it :3 had been meaning to do that this past year but I figured there was no rush since this patch wasn’t going to be done anytime soon, but I did finally get around to it

So now whenever this thing is finished, I’ll be ready to play it day 1 :D

Though I’m currently more hyped for Lost Evolution because I’ve been wanting to play that one far longer, and it’s also coming much sooner.

@Chrona: I’d suggest installing a CFW, like Luma3ds instead of using Gateway.

I guess I could do that? What’s the difference ultimately?

@Chrona: Well with a cfw you can install .cia files which doesn’t require having to edit the header of the roms you place on the Gateway.

In short, less chance of being banned from online, which even if you use a private header on your 3ds roms, still a chance to be banned, unlike cia files. I’m not sure how NTR or other homebrew works with Gateway, but it’s probably easier on cfw. :P

The biggest perk for Luma3DS specifically, is that with Pokemon hacking, you can replace the starters and static encounters. The only CFW that support that are Luma3DS, and Reinand. Gateway doesn’t support RO modification.
