On Friday, the 21st, we will be hosting a LIVE, English Let’s play of Decode. You will be seing the game for the first time with inserted English text and graphics.
For this special occasion, our programmer SydMontague (A familiar name for DW1 veterans) agreed to join me, so while I’ll be playing the game and commenting, he will be around to comment and answer your questions as well.
The stream will be hosted on our twich site, which you can access here: https://www.twitch.tv/opdecoded
But don’t worry guys if you can’t attend, because I will also upload the whole Stream to Youtube after the event is passed.
While we haven’t decided on a concrete time yet, it will be most likely to take place in the evening, around 20-21~ o’clock in the UTC+02:00 time zone. I will make an additional announcement with the exact time later.
If the Stream turns out to be a success, we want to turn this into a series and hopefully, we’ll be able to do the same for Lost Evolution as well.

@Anonymous/Romsstar: It will. If it works with NTR, or a HANS Patch, it’ll work with Luma’s LayeredFS function.
Luma’s LFS function is near identical to NTR’s. And there’s a way to convert HANS patches to Luma’s LayeredFS function.

Hi. Nice to see an update here after a long time. Though I’d really prefer works and updates on the DW1 hacking tool which I believe would be more interesting. The tools is just very unknown and underrated. The reviews on digimon world next order on amazon show that a true DW game has lots of potentials. Never thought of making that hacking tool open source on github so others could also work on it? ;-(

I don’t get it, 2 years ago they posted a stream with a DW1 tool almost perfect, they don’t want to finish it, they don’t want to make it open source, it’s almost torture.
@Romsstar, if you don’t want to finish your DW1 tool, please send it to someone, or make it open source. For you it may be a side project with no importance, but I know ppl that would love to play DW1 modded.

We are still working on it. The tool was heavily updated since last time I showed it and it can do much more than it could to before. It was nowhere near perfect when I showed it last time. It has still a long way to go till I could consider it anywhere near perfect.
To me my work on my DW1 Tool is quite important, as such I will release it when I’m satisfied with it. Not when people want me to.

@Anonymous: I don’t get it, where did you get the idea that they’ve stopped working on the tool, or that they don’t want to make it open source? It’s not like you’d be able to do anything even if it was open source, otherwise you would make your own tool because apparently, you’re so impatient that you need to make up bullshit rumours because things aren’t happening exactly the way ‘you’ want them to.
Go outside, do something with your life, instead of apparently only doing one thing in your life, which is waiting for a tool to be released to the point where you liken it to torture.

I still remember in your Re:Digitize translate, you said if you ever paid for this patch, you were robbed.
Now I WISH I paid for that patch along with your Decode translation patch… You guys are doing a lot of work yet not wanting to be paid for it. I appreciate that.
Now you know what I wish? Having enough money AND a way to pay and help you guys. Unfortunately, life as a high school that will soon leave high school is a life with no money, and being someone that doesn’t know/have a way to do worldwide transaction saddens me.
I know, it’s been what, four months since this post was made? But until today I still love and appreciate what you’re doing. I just wish I know a way to do worldwide transaction to donate to you guys.
And if you’re thinking of PayPal or Mastercard, surprise surprise, my country apparently doesn’t support that.

Hey guys! I just wanted to say that I’ve been following this translation for a good while now since I saw it back in gbatemp and… is there a possible release date for this..? Like at least of a partial patched version or just the partial patch itself?
